Erin O'Flaherty is an LGBTQ suicide prevention advocate. She works closely with The Trevor Project and The Human Rights Campaign. Erin hit headlines in 2016 for being the first openly gay Miss America contestant. Erin was featured on CNN, Cosmopolitan, USA Today, Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, Pop Sugar, and the Today Show News just to name a few. Although many amazing doors opened for Erin, she still had to rise above a lot of the hate she received during her year. Erin's heart and soul is dedicated to staying true to who she is so that other's can feel the confidence to do so.
